Practice Areas
Immigration is the core of the firm. Our corporate and tax practices are built around it, so every residency file is supported by the right structure and kept in good standing with the tax authorities.
Immigration
Our core practice. Your path to life in Spain, handled end to end.
Immigration is the foundation of the firm and the work we are known for. We advise individuals and families from Iran, the UAE, the GCC and Turkey on which residency route actually fits their circumstances, then run the file ourselves — from the first eligibility assessment to the residence card in your hand and every renewal after it. Our corporate and tax work exists to support it.
Book a ConsultationNon-Lucrative Visa
Spain’s residency route for people who can support themselves and their family without working. It requires no investment, no property purchase and no business — only the financial means to live in Spain, private health cover and a clean record. It is the route most of our families from the Gulf and Iran use, and the one where small evidential mistakes cause most refusals.
- Preparation and submission of the full application, with every document reviewed one by one before filing.
- Fingerprint appointment and issue of your TIE residence card.
- Opening of a Spanish bank account.
- An administrative appeal (recurso de reposición) if the application is refused.
- Applications for your spouse, children and dependent parents, filed together with yours.
Digital Nomad Visa
Spain’s international telework residency, created by the 2022 Startup Law, for professionals who work remotely for companies or clients outside Spain. It gives the whole family residency, lets the spouse work, and can be combined with the Beckham tax regime. Most refusals are not about income — they are about the structure of the employment or the social security position behind it, and that is where we spend our time.
- Preparation and submission of the full application, including the review of your contract or client base and the 20% limit.
- Fingerprint appointment and issue of your TIE residence card.
- Opening of a Spanish bank account.
- An administrative appeal (recurso de reposición) if the application is refused.
- Applications for your spouse, children and dependent parents, filed together with yours.
Self-Employed Visa (Cuenta Propia)
The route for people who want to open their own business or practise their profession in Spain — a restaurant, a shop, a consultancy, a trade, a franchise. Unlike the Digital Nomad Visa, the activity takes place in Spain and with Spanish clients. The file is assessed on the project itself: whether it is viable, properly funded and legally able to operate, and whether you are qualified to run it.
- Incorporation of your Spanish limited company (SL), with notary and registry fees — see Limited Company (SL) Incorporation.
- A business plan prepared by our team to the standard the evaluators apply, and management of the viability report.
- Your residency application and the residency applications of your family members.
Entrepreneur Visa
Spain’s residency for innovative business projects of special economic interest, under the Entrepreneurs Law (Law 14/2013) as amended by the 2022 Startup Law. It is processed by a specialised unit, not the ordinary immigration offices, and decided in weeks rather than months. The file depends on a favourable report from ENISA, the public company that assesses innovation and scalability — not profitability or capital.
- Incorporation of your Spanish limited company (SL), with notary and registry fees — see Limited Company (SL) Incorporation.
- A business plan prepared to ENISA’s evaluation criteria, and management of the ENISA favourable report.
- Your residency application and the residency applications of your family members.
Intra-Company Transfer (ICT)
For international groups moving managers, specialists or trainees to their Spanish company, branch or client project. Processed by the Large Companies and Strategic Groups Unit under Law 14/2013 and the EU ICT Directive, it is the fastest and most predictable way to relocate existing staff from the Gulf, Iran or Turkey — with their families.
- Incorporation of the Spanish subsidiary (SL), with notary and registry fees — see Spanish Subsidiary of a Foreign Company.
- Residency applications for the transferred executive and every family member.
Residency Renewal & TIE
The permit is the beginning, not the end. We prepare and file the renewal of your residence permit and book the fingerprint appointment for your new TIE card — for you and every family member — checking first that the conditions of your route are still met, because a permit that cannot be renewed is not a plan.
- Preparation and submission of the renewal application.
- Fingerprint appointment for your new TIE card.
- Renewals for your family members, filed together with yours.
Corporate
Company formation in Spain, without travelling.
We incorporate Spanish companies for clients from the region entirely by power of attorney — a limited company (SL) for founders and investors, or a subsidiary owned by a foreign parent company. It is built to support the residency work: the right structure is often what makes the residency file work.
Book a ConsultationLimited Company (SL) Incorporation
We incorporate Spanish limited companies (SL) for non-resident clients entirely by power of attorney — residency in Spain is not required, and neither is travelling here. We handle every step from the NIE to the company’s tax registration, and we build the structure around what the company is actually for: operating a business, holding assets, or supporting a residency application.
- NIE for each foreign shareholder and director
- Notarial power of attorney — no travel to Spain
- Deed of incorporation and Commercial Registry
- Foreign investment declaration
- Company tax ID and census registration (Form 036)
- Bank file with KYC and source-of-funds documents
Spanish Subsidiary of a Foreign Company
When a group from Iran, the UAE, the GCC or Turkey wants its own presence in Spain, the usual vehicle is a Spanish limited company (SL) whose shareholder is the foreign parent company. We incorporate it by power of attorney, including the legalisation and translation of the parent’s corporate documents — the step that usually takes longest — and design it to host any executives the group will transfer to Spain.
- Legalisation and sworn translation of the parent company’s corporate documents.
- NIE for the parent company and for each director.
- Notarial power of attorney, so no one needs to travel to Spain.
- Deed of incorporation before the notary and registration at the Commercial Registry.
- Foreign investment declaration (Form D-1A).
- Tax ID and census registration with the Tax Agency (Form 036), and preparation of the bank file.
Tax & Accounting
Registration and ongoing compliance for freelancers and companies.
Once you are in Spain, the calendar matters as much as the permit. We register the self-employed, keep the books and recurring tax filings of freelancers and companies, and handle Beckham regime applications — so that tax compliance never becomes the reason a renewal fails.
Book a ConsultationSelf-Employed Registration (Autónomo)
Autónomo is Spain’s self-employed status: the way an individual invoices clients in their own name without a company. We handle the complete registration — digital certificate, tax census (Form 036) and Social Security — and explain from the start what it will cost each month in contributions and what has to be filed each quarter, so there are no surprises.
- Digital certificate, so you can deal with the tax agency and Social Security online.
- Tax census registration (Form 036), with the correct activity code and VAT regime.
- Social Security registration (RETA), with your contribution base chosen and the flat rate applied for where you qualify.
Accounting & Tax — Self-Employed
Once you are registered as autónomo, the real work is the calendar: invoices, quarterly returns and annual summaries — each of them also a condition for renewing your residence permit. We keep your books and file your recurring tax returns throughout the year, so you always know what is due and when.
- Bookkeeping: record of income and expenses and review of the invoices you issue.
- Quarterly VAT and income tax returns (Forms 303 and 130).
- Annual VAT summary (Form 390).
- A filing calendar, so you know what is due and when.
Accounting & Tax — Companies
A Spanish limited company has obligations from the day it is incorporated, whether or not it has started trading. We keep the company’s books and file its recurring tax returns and annual accounts, with a team that also understands the residency files that often depend on the company.
- Bookkeeping under the Spanish chart of accounts and legalisation of the corporate books.
- Quarterly VAT and withholding returns.
- Annual corporate income tax return.
- Preparation of the annual accounts and their filing with the Commercial Registry.
Beckham Regime Applications
Spain’s special tax regime for inbound workers, known as the Beckham Law. Instead of being taxed as an ordinary resident on worldwide income at progressive rates of up to 47% or more, qualifying new residents are taxed broadly as non-residents: a flat rate on Spanish employment income and most foreign income left outside the Spanish tax net. For clients arriving from the Gulf, it is often the most valuable decision of the whole move.
- Eligibility check before you move: prior residence history, the type of contract or activity and your shareholding.
- Preparation and filing of Form 149 inside the six-month window.
- Follow-up until the Tax Agency confirms the regime.
