Accounting & Tax — Companies
A Spanish limited company has obligations from the day it is incorporated, whether or not it has started trading. We keep the company’s books and file its recurring tax returns and annual accounts, with a team that also understands the residency files that often depend on the company.
Registration and ongoing compliance for freelancers and companies.

How we work
- 01 · Initial assessment. The company’s activity, VAT regime and the returns that apply to it, and the state of its books if it is already operating.
- 02 · Strategy and document map. How invoices, bank statements and contracts reach us each month, and the company’s filing calendar.
- 03 · Preparation and filing. Bookkeeping and the quarterly returns, filed on time.
- 04 · Year-end closing. Annual accounts, corporate income tax and filing with the Commercial Registry.
- 05 · Obligations and renewals. The service renews each year, and we keep the company in good standing for any residency that depends on it.
Frequently asked questions
Does a company with no activity still have to file?
Yes. A Spanish SL must keep its books, file its tax returns — even with no activity — and file annual accounts with the Commercial Registry.
When is corporate income tax due?
For companies whose financial year matches the calendar year, the annual return (Form 200) is filed in July.
Can you take over a company incorporated elsewhere?
Yes. We first review the state of its books and filings, and then take over the calendar.
Is it a monthly or an annual service?
It is an annual service that covers the company’s recurring filings throughout the year.
